Tomlinson Historic Lofts & Tomlinson Tower
A pre-design mixed-use residential concept for Teacher Housing utilizing the site of the former Tomlinson Adult Learning Center in the Mirror Lake Neighborhood of Downtown St. Petersburg. The concept consists of the historic preservation and adaptive reuse of the former school into approximately 14,000 SF of ground floor commercial space and 27 residential units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The ground floor of the school offers a patio and café facing Mirror Lake, plus a community space that contains micro-offices and meeting rooms alongside business incubation, coworking, and public gathering spaces.
Parallel to the school preservation, a new 17-story tower featuring approximately 208 residential units, 265 parking spaces plus amenities including a rooftop pool, fitness center, workspace, an entertaining space and a quiet area with east-to-west views of Mirror Lake and St. Petersburg. Additional amenities are a pet spa, air-conditioned storage units on each floor, car wash station and a secure room for bike storage.
